Parking lots or garages may become filled and close . Patrons will be directed to other available parking lots at the posted rates. Oversized vehicle parking is not available. We cannot accommodate oversized vehicles that require more than one parking space.

Baltimore/Washington International Airport has more than 25,000 parking spaces at hourly, daily, express and long term rates. For up-to-date parking information, listen to radio station 1040 AM as you approach the airport. All parking lot shuttles operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When parking, plan to arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before the scheduled flight departure for domestic and international trips.

Hourly Garage

The Hourly Garage is very close to the airport terminal. So it is great for short weeday business trips or keeping your car under cover while you are away. Also, the garage is equipped with "Smart park" technology to guide you to an empty space.

Daily Garage

The Daily Garage is a great place to park and the view comes free of charge! The garage has 8400 parking spaces (7,400 are covered) in close proximity to the airport terminal. Also, the garage is equipped with "Smart park" technology. Shuttle bus service is provided from the garage to the terminal. The free shuttle runs every 8-12 minutes 24 hours/day 7 days/week. The Daily Garage is located at Terminal Road and Scott Drive (one block off of MD 170). From I-195 exit at 1-A and turn right onto Terminal Road.

Express Service Parking (ESP)

Express Service Parking provides travellers with a personalized service and over 1,400 parking spaces. Particularly, travellers are picked up by a shuttle bus directly at their vehicle, and are driven to the airport terminal free-of-charge 24 hours/day 7 days/week. Also, upon returning, the shuttle bus drives you directly to your vehicle. Upon request, the driver will help you with your luggage.. The Express parking lot is located across from BWI Marshall's Daily Garage at Terminal Road and Scott Drive (one block off of MD 170). Take exit 1-A off of I-195 and turn right onto Terminal Road.

Cell Phone Lot

If you are picking up a passenger, use the FREE BWI Cell Phone Lot located across from BWI Marshall's Daily Garage at Terminal Road and Scott Drive (one block off of MD 170). Follow sings to EXPRESS. Take exit 1-A off of I-195 and turn right onto Terminal Road. By using the lot, you can avoid circling BWI Marshall roadways while waiting for incoming passengers. The Cell Phone lot has 50 parking spaces and provides for quick access to the terminal to meet your guests.

Long Term Parking

The Long Term parking lots can accommodate 10,000 vehicles. The lots are served by free shuttle buses that transport travellers from the parking lots to the airport terminal. Shuttle service runs approximately every 10-15 minutes 24 hours/day 7 days/week. The economical rates make these parking lots very popular. The Long Term parking lots are located just off of MD 162 (Aviation Blvd.) between S. Camp Meade Road and Andover Road.

Airport Parking Cost

Parking fees are paid when exiting the parking garage or lot. Payments can be made using cash, American Express, Carte Blanche, Diners, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa. Pay in the Terminal

This is a new parking service available at Hourly Garages & Daily Garages.

For Hourly Garage parking, pay at Pay-on-Foot stations located on the 6th level of the garage.

For Daily Garage parking, pay at the Pay-on-Foot stations located in Daily Bus Shelters.

Make sure to taake your parking ticket with you. Both garages offer express lanes for faster exiting. After payment, 30 minutes free time is provided to exit the garage.

Shuttle Service

The shuttle bus service at BWI Airport is operated by First Transit. Travellers with questions or suggestions about the shuttle bus service should contact First Transit's manager at 410-684-3346.

Lost Tickets

If you lost the ticket issued when you entered the parking lot or garage, a minimum of one day's parking for that lot or garage will be charged. Vehicles parked for more than one day will pay the maximum rate for each full day or part of a day spent on the lot.

Holiday Parking

During peak travel periods, BWI Airport's 32,000 public parking spaces can fill to capacity. If this happens, BWI has overflow parking spaces to compensate. Overflow parking is available at reduced rates, and free shuttle service is provided. As with Long Term parking, it is recommended that you allow plenty of time to get to the airport terminal.

Handicap Parking

Parking spaces for travellers with vehicles displaying the international symbol of accessibility are marked and are available in all parking lots and garages.

Spaces in the Hourly Garage are only located near the elevators and pedestrian ramps on the 5th level.

Spaces in the Daily Garage are only located on the 2nd level.

Spaces on surface lots are located next to all shuttle stops. Shuttle stops are equipped with accessible shelters and telephones.
